The sitter cancelled. The meeting didn't. A mama near you is up too.

It's 7am, school is closed, your shift starts in two hours, and your group chat has gone quiet. Momni shows you the mothers in your neighborhood who can take your kids today — this very hour.

You're not stuck. You're surrounded.

You pay your Momni directly, mom to mom. Momni never takes a cut.

From 7am panic to drop-off before 9.

Three steps. No waitlists, no agencies, no interviews scheduled for next Thursday. Just mothers who are home today.

1

Search Momnis available today

Open the map and see which mamas near you have marked themselves available right now. Real mothers, real homes, walking distance to a few miles away.

2

Meet her in the app

Read her profile, see what other mamas have shared, message her, ask every question on your mind. You choose her — the way you'd choose a friend.

3

Drop off, pay her directly

Bring the kids, the snacks, the blankie. You pay her directly, mom to mom — she keeps every penny, and Momni never touches the money.

We've all had the 7am morning.

The text comes in at 6:48: "So sorry, I'm sick, I can't come today." And you stand in the kitchen in one shoe doing the math — the meeting you can't move, the partner who's already gone, the mom who lives four states away.

Here's what Karmel learned from 26,000 mothers: the help was never far away. She was three streets over the whole time — a mama with cheerios on the floor and room on the couch, who knows exactly what 6:48am feels like because she's lived it too. You can read letters from mamas who've lived it over in Circle Stories.

Momni just makes her findable. The rest is what mothers have always done for each other.

Mothers circling up for each other — the heart of Circle Up by founder Karmel

Fair questions. Honest answers.

You're trusting another mother with your babies. Ask us anything — and then ask her everything.

How fast can I actually find care?

As fast as a mama near you says yes. The Right Now search shows only Momnis who've marked themselves available today, so you're not messaging into the void. Many mamas hear back within minutes — but it depends on who's circled up in your neighborhood.

Does Momni screen hosts?

No — and we're upfront about that. Momni is a community, not a childcare company. We don't employ, supervise, or make representations about any member. You choose your Momni: you read her profile, you ask the questions, you make the call — exactly like choosing a trusted friend in the neighborhood. Mamas share reviews from other mothers, and any background check a mama has purchased herself and chosen to display lives right on her profile.

How much does same-day care cost?

Whatever you and your Momni agree on. Each mama sets her own rate, and you pay her directly — cash, Venmo, however you two decide. Momni never processes care payments and never takes a percentage. She keeps every penny.

Can I meet her before I drop off?

Please do. Message her in the app, video chat, swing by for five minutes at drop-off and look around. Any good Momni expects your questions — she asks the same ones when she needs care for her own kids.

What if I need her again next week?

That's the best part. Today's emergency mama often becomes your regular. Save her to your Links and check out My Regulars for standing weekly care.

Right now means right now.

A mama near you is already up.

Coffee's on, toys are out, and she has room on the couch for yours. Open the map and see who's available today.
