Dear mamas,
I’ve been keeping a secret on my desk, and today I finally get to slide it across the kitchen table: Momni is becoming a family of apps. We’re calling them the Momni Boards — little tools for the big job of raising a family, built by the same tiny team with the same big belief: mothering is better done together.
It started with a chore chart
The first two Boards are almost here. ChoreBoard turns the family chore list into a team sport — everyone sees the list, everyone gets a win. And Motherboard is productivity built around a mom’s real day, not a corporate one: the lists, the loads of laundry, and the life, finally in one place.
Behind them, the drawing board is full: GrandBoard for grandma’s days and her people. LegacyBoard to record her life stories and recipes in her own voice, forever. StoryBoard — the baby book that actually gets kept, one timeline per kid. MealBoard, DateBoard, BumpBoard, FridgeBoard, CareBoard, GiftBoard, PackBoard, LearnBoard, PiggyBoard… the whole shelf is here, and the Circle votes on what we build next.
The Momni math, one more time
You know how this goes by now. Circle Up is $1. A Link is $1. Momni Gives is $1. So what does a Board cost a member of the Circle? Also $1.
When they launch, anyone in the world will be able to download a Board free from the App Store and subscribe at $3.99–$7.99 a month. But Circle Up members will keep any Board for $1 a month (or $10 a year), billed simply through your Momni account. And Momni+ will include every Board we ever make — at $4.99 a month, the whole shelf is just… yours. Your Momni Gives dollar works across the Boards too, same as everywhere else.
One account, the whole Circle
Every Board has a “Sign in with Momni” button. One tap, and the app knows exactly three things: your name, your email, and your membership level — that’s how the member price finds you. What the Boards never see: your location, your littles, your Links, your messages. That boundary is built into the architecture, not just the promise.
"Someone finds ChoreBoard in the App Store — and on the other side of it, a whole Circle is waiting."
Why this matters beyond the apps
Momni has always refused to make money the easy ways — we never touch what you pay each other for care, and we never will. The Boards are the other path: useful little tools the world pays full price for, and the Circle gets for a dollar. Every subscription helps keep hosting free, the map growing, and the mission funded without ever reaching into a mama’s care money.
You pick what we build next
ChoreBoard and Motherboard are nearly ready for your phones. The order of everything after that is up to you — go look at the shelf and tell me which Board your family needs first. I read every single vote.
And if you’re new here and wondering how a chore app connects to a movement of mamas — the book that started the Circle is the best place to begin.
