On August 21, Karmel Larson embarked on a two-week speaking tour of India to share the Momni vision with mothers, diplomats, leaders and businessmen. She interviewed many individuals to learn more about the childcare needs in India and gain further insight into the global childcare crisis. She was privileged to meet many men and women who are dedicated to improving the lives of mothers and children.
At each stop on the tour, Karmel and the Momni vision were warmly received. Mothers welcomed the prospect of using a tool to help them find flexible childcare in their communities and to enjoy the opportunity that hosting would provide.
In Mount Abu, Karmel was invited to lunch by a hotel owner who was anxious to discuss the needs of mothers in her area. The speaking tour then went on to Hyderabad and Mumbai for more events and further research.
